Is King Arthur real?
The story of King Arthur is very famous. Not only in the UK, but all over the world. For more than 1,000 years the stories of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the wizard Merlin and the phenomenal sword Excalibur have been told. However, was King Arthur inspired by a real character? Scientists have not yet been able to conclude it.
In the ninth century, there is a story of a leader who fought against the Saxons who may have been Arthur. However, its accuracy is questionable. In England, there are several sites linked to Arthur, but there is no conclusive evidence.
Who is Jack The Ripper?
In 1888, Jack The Ripper murdered at least 5 women in London and mutilated them. Several letters allegedly from the perpetrator were sent to the police. Jack challenges them to find him. Until now, his true identity is unknown even though there are quite a lot of candidates.
In 2012, the book Jack The Ripper: The Hand of a Woman was published. The author claims that the perpetrator was a woman named Lizzie Williams. However, experts doubt that and it seems that the true identity of this criminal will never be revealed.
Where is Cleopatra’s tomb?
According to ancient authors, Egypt’s most famous Queen Cleopatra VII and her lover Mark Antony were buried together in a pyre in 30 BC. Its location near the temple of Isis is beautifully decorated and full of treasures. But so far, Cleopatra’s tomb has not been found.
The Egyptian government has excavated a site near Alexandria, where there are several tombs dating from the era when Cleopatra ruled. Many historical relics were found there, but not including Cleopatra’s tomb. Experts also assess that Cleopatra’s tomb may be difficult to identify.
Who was the real killer of John F Kennedy?
Perhaps this is the biggest question in the history of the United States which, even though there has been a solution, many are not satisfied. On November 22, 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead by Lee Harvey Oswald. In November 1963 before his trial, Oswald was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner. In 1967, Ruby died of a heart attack.
There are quite a lot of historical experts and ordinary people who do not agree with the explanation presented regarding the death of John F Kennedy. In the absence of new evidence, a consensus that satisfies most parties may never be reached.
