Mystery Of The World – A resident of Longyou village named Wu Anai pooled money with his neighbors to buy a water pump. He started sucking water stored in a pond in his village. It is believed by local residents that the pond has no bottom.
Anai managed to empty a pool and found out that it was not an ordinary pool. He realized that it was a man-made cave. Soon after the other pools had been drained of their water, they discovered 24 large caves with walls full of hand carvings.
The large caves sink to depths of up to 100 feet (equivalent to 30 meters). Even though the 24 caves are not connected at all, they are divided into thin walls with beautiful carvings containing symbols on each wall FOR4D.
However, that is not the only mystery surrounding Longyou Cave. Here are three mysteries surrounding this beautiful cave according to Ancient Origins.
• Cave construction
The construction of the cave is a mystery in itself. How could it not be, it is estimated that 1 million cubic meters of rock had to be moved to build the cave. At least 1000 people worked day and night for six years to build the cave. It is estimated that the cave was built in 200 BC (BC).
The construction itself leaves questions. Archaeologists who examined the cave were unable to find any traces of construction on the cave walls. There are also no written documents recording the construction of the cave. Not to mention, the cave is very dark mposlot.
“They had to use lights because the mouth of the cave is very small and sunlight can only shine at a limited angle and for a limited time,” said Tongji University Civil Engineering Professor, Jia Gang.
• Condition of the cave
It has been said that the walls of the cave are decorated with carvings. After exploring it, it turned out that the carvings were uniform throughout almost the entire cave. Of course it takes hours to make these carvings.
The question also arises as to how the cave has survived so well for 2000 years. There were absolutely no signs of the cave ever collapsing or being damaged even though almost the entire area the walls were only 50 centimeters thick. For several centuries the area was rocked by natural disasters, but the cave construction remained intact.
Another question is the lack of fish. The cave was filled with water before it was discovered. As is common with other bottomless caves found in China, there are at least fish there. However, this is not the case with Longyou Cave togel terpercaya.
• The purpose of building the cave
Archaeologists believe it is unlikely that an ordinary villager could have ordered the construction of the cave. They believe an empire built the cave like the Great Wall of China. However, once again, there are no written documents regarding the construction of the cave.
If the Great Wall of China was built for defense, then what was the cave built for? Archaeologists have speculated that the cave was built as a burial site, like the pyramids in Egypt. However, once again, there is no evidence to support this speculation.
There are also those who say the cave was built for mining. However, no traces of heavy equipment were found there either. The latest speculation is that the cave was built as a hiding place for the dynasty’s troops so that their enemies would not find out in war.
Although there are 24 caves in Longyou, only one is open for tourism purposes. For those who like exploring, the cave is open to the public from 08.00 – 16.00 local time. Longyou itself is located in Quzhou prefecture, Zhejiang province.
