But sometimes we also need to solve problems completely before they just become mysteries. For example, the following 9 mystery cases.
All these mysteries cannot be solved for decades, even by experts. Indeed, there are many things that are difficult to solve logically, so they are more associated with supernatural things. Read more details below!
1. Insiden Dyatlov Pass
On January 25, 1959, nine Russian students climbed Mount Otorten for a ski vacation. They never returned until their bodies were found. The examination of the nine bodies came close to drawing a red line of conclusions.
What caused these nine experienced climbers to appear to be fleeing into the freezing temperatures? Why were some fully clothed while others were completely naked?
More alarming is the body of Lyudmilla Dubinina, which is missing her tongue and both eyes. There are various theories that have emerged as an explanation for slot demo the dark and terrifying times on the mountain of death. slot online
Possible explanations such as an avalanche or a secret experimental weapons test by the Russian military were blamed. Even abduction by Yeti or aliens were also used as reasons (based on the beliefs of Soviet researchers at the time). This is what makes the Dyatlov Pass incident still a mystery to this day.
2. Pollock’s twin brothers
In 1957, two sisters Joanna and Jacqueline Pollock aged 11 and 6 were tragically killed in a car accident as they were on their way to a local church in Northumberland, England. Their parents were devastated.
To the point that her father, John, prayed for his two daughters to return to his life and it seems his prayer was answered. One year later, twin sisters Jennifer and Gillian were born, who surprisingly had the same birthmark as their previously deceased sister.
At the age of 2 years, the two new twins asked for the same toy that Jacqueline and Joanna had asked for even though they had never heard of the toy before. At 4 years old, they are already familiar with places they have never been to but which Jacqueline and Joanna have visited.
Before school age, they even pointed to the school where Jacqueline and Joanna went, then claimed that it was their school. Experts, one of whom is Dr. Ian Stevenson, said that this might be a sign of reincarnation, but they have not been able to confirm it.
3. Who Put Bella in the Wych Elm ? Who put Bella in the wych-elm tree?
On April 18, 1943, four boys were walking in Hagley Wood, England. They found a wych-elm tree, which they thought would be good for hunting bird nests. One of the boys climbed up to check it out. That’s when he finally found a creepy crack in the tree trunk and inside was a complete female skeleton except for one of its arms that had gone missing.
Frightened, they promised to keep quiet and ran away – but the youngest boy was so traumatized that he told his father. The police were finally moved to investigate and the skeleton was found in the place as described.
The woman’s severed hand and some of the woman’s clothing were found moments later, buried near a tree, leading some to conclude that she had suffered from black magic or satanic practices in the area. After police analysis, the bones turned out to belong to a woman around the age of 35-40 who was placed in the tree “while still warm” and hidden for up to 18 months.
Struggling with this mystery, the residents named the woman’s body Bella, after graffiti appeared in town that read “who put Bella in the wych-elm tree?”. However, no one has ever been able to provide complete information regarding this.
4. Dutch SS Ourang Medan
According to reports that have spread, in June 1947 many ships sailing in the Malacca Strait trade route, located between Sumatra and Malaysia, claimed to have caught several SOS distress signals. The messages from the ships were quite sinister because they stated that “all the crew including the captain were dead, lying all over the ship.”
This communication is followed by untranslatable Morse code which concludes with the message “I’m dead too.” After that there was only silence that could be heard. The signal for help was received by 2 American ships as well as British and Dutch reception posts. Those at the signal reception post managed to catch the source of the broadcast and estimated that it came from a Dutch cargo ship known as the SS Ourang Medan.
The American merchant ship Silver Star was the first on the scene, quickly approaching the Ourang Medan. Its decks were littered with the bodies of the Dutch crew, their eyes wide open and their arms outstretched in front of them as if shielding themselves from something terrible.
As the Silver Star tried to pull the ghost ship back to shore, the crew noticed smoke coming from the lower deck. Fortunately, the Silver Star crew was able to easily cut the ship’s ropes before the Ourang Medan exploded. The terrifying ship eventually sank leaving behind one of the most terrifying mysteries in the maritime world.
5. Signal Wow!
Cornell physicists Philip Morrison and Giuseppe Cocconi are famous for trying to imagine how intelligent an alien civilization might try to contact Earth. They had to see the radio transmission. 18 years later, that prediction came true.
In August 1977, Jerry Ehman, a volunteer researcher from Ohio State University scanned radio waves from outer space, hoping to randomly encounter a signal sent by intelligent aliens, until he saw his measuring instrument take a nosedive. The signal lasted 72 seconds, the longest period of time that had ever appeared and been transmitted in the device Ehman was using. The signal was very loud and seemed to be emitted from a place no human had ever visited, in the constellation Sagittarius near the Tau Sagittari Star, 120 light years away.
Ehman wrote the words “Wow!” on the original sheet of writing the signal so that the researchers gave it the title “Wow Signal!”. All attempts to trace the location of the signal failed, leading to speculation and mystery about its origin.
So what do these mysterious extraterrestrial signals mean? Was Ehman the first human to receive a message from outer space? Researchers are divided, but it could be that we will find the answer sooner than we think.
6. Disappearance of Frederick Valentich
On October 21, 1978, Frederick Valentich left Melbourne, Australia to begin a 125-mile training flight to King’s Island. He was flying a single-engine Cessna.
Shortly after 7 p.m., Valentinch made radio contact with air traffic control to see if any other aircraft were flying in the area. The answer was no, an answer that was confirmed again through a strange communication that followed. Seven minutes later, radio contact was lost and Valentich was never heard from again.
During his radio call with air traffic control, Valentich stated that he saw something flying close to him. When asked if he could confirm that it was a plane, he said he could not, a statement he repeated over and over.
He described the object as having at least 4 lights and 1 green light. He also said that it was long, a tube-like craft shaped like a cigarette with a shiny surface all over.
Interestingly, there were indeed several reported UFO sightings and mysterious lights on King’s Island and the Bass Strait area on the night Frederick Valentich disappeared. There were also UFO sightings in the weeks before and after the incident.
The last words air traffic controllers heard from Frederick Valentich were “that’s not a plane.” An extensive search for the pilot was conducted, but no sign of Frederick or his Cessna was ever seen again.
7. The man who disappeared in midair
Writer and war hero Ambrose Bierce is perhaps more famous for his disappearance than his writing. In 1913, Bierce wrote that he was traveling in Mexico and simply disappeared. The logical explanation is that he was running from a group of soldiers in the Mexican Revolution.
Apart from the Trip that Bierce went through, he had indeed researched many sudden disappearances. Bierce put forward a theory that someone could fall into a dimensional hole and be trapped there forever, waiting between life and death. Is this what happened to Bierce? Did he have his own destiny? No one knows, to this day his disappearance is still a mystery.
8. San Francisco cult beheadings
On February 8, 1981, Leroy Carter Jr. was taking a nap in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park before he was brutally attacked. When police arrived at the scene the next day, they noted that Carter’s head had been severed and was nowhere to be found.
One sign left behind is a headless chicken, whose head was connected to Carter’s body via its severed neck. Quickly realizing that this case needed to be solved by a specialist, the San Francisco police contacted officer Sandi Gallant who was also an expert in ritualistic murders and related Satanism.
According to Gallant, this murder was part of a dark ritual involving Palo Mayombe, a dark form of magic that perverts the Santeria religion. Gallant believes that whoever committed the crime intended to carry out a ritual using Carter’s brain, ears and nose. He also predicted that his head would return 42 days after the ritual was successful.
It turned out to be true, 42 days later after the crime, the victim’s head was at the crime scene. However, regardless of the accuracy of the officer’s analysis, it still cannot be pursued in law because it is considered beyond reason. Apart from that, there were no eye witnesses to the incident. The killer is unknown to date and the case remains unsolved.
9. The confusing case of little Pauline Picard
Little Pauline Picard, aged 2, disappeared from her family’s farm in Brittany, France in April 1922. A thorough search failed to find her. But a few days later, police received word that a little girl matching Pauline’s description had been found wandering in the town of Cherbourg, about 200 miles (320 km) from the Picard farm. Pauline’s parents came to check on the little girl and confirmed that it was indeed the missing Pauline.
About a month later, a neighboring rancher walked by the Picard ranch and made a horrifying discovery: the mutilated and decomposing body of a young girl next to her neatly folded clothes. He alerted the authorities, who arrived at the scene along with the townspeople, among them Pauline’s parents. Although the girl’s face could no longer be identified, the Picard parents made a puzzling observation: the folded clothes matched exactly what Pauline had been wearing the day she disappeared.
The area where the remains were found had been thoroughly searched when Pauline first disappeared, leading to the conclusion that someone put the body there only recently. The case became even more confusing when an adult male skull was found next to Pauline’s body, adding the possibility of a second victim to the case.
The case baffled police. If the body in the woods was Pauline, as the evidence suggested, what happened to her? What did the unidentified adult male skull have to do with Pauline’s murder?
Who was the little girl from Cherbourg who had been living with the Picard family? The answers to these questions have never been revealed and the case of little Pauline Picard remains France’s most perplexing unsolved mystery.
